E中为什么BOTH多余啊？有个BOTH不是刚好BOTH AND么？
Jazz pianist and composer是修饰Thelonious Monk么？这样2个名词可以这样当形容词一样用啊？

第一点 E 选项中work 后面没有that 。这个that不能省略，这个句子有那种重句的意思，此句没有从句，完全一个整句，主语又混乱，所以错了。
2  Both 后面 in  the stride-piano tradition of Willie Smith  和Ellington 没法平行比较，所以错了。

3 A选项可能也会选 但是在人称后面一般都省略Be动词，加上who was ,which is ,等等这种很多是wordy的，OG 12 13版有不少例子。
