我对正确答案没有疑问,但是对题目里面的词组有疑问。。。

我的问题是....题目中5个选项用的全是 distinguish A and B, 这是什么样的用法?我知道的是distinguish A from B 或者 distinguish between A and B,没有这样直接 and 连接的,这是ETS的一种什么用法?  

还有,正确答案中 B. that it hampers the ability of some children to distinguish discrete sounds and
words and, as a result, to make  这里,两个逗号是表示什么意思?我对逗号的作用一直不是很清楚。。。我一直以为逗号前后都要是两个完整的 句子,就是有主谓,如果这样理解的话,后面的to make 不是没有主语?请大家指点。

还有选项E, E. as to hamper the ability of some children for distinguishing discrete sounds and
words, resulting in being unable to make  我知道 前面用法不对,但是我想问。。。后面的resulting 是在修饰离他最近的words么?不按逻辑,就按语法来讲。。。

关于distinguish的用法,楼主查一个比较权威的字典看看吧。第二个问题,as a result是作为插入语,用一对逗号隔开,这是插入语的标志。to make自然是与to distinguish平行的。所以并不是没有主语。第三个问题,-ing分词短语放在句尾优先充当状语,表伴随结果或伴随动作,此处表伴随结果~拙见,望牛牛指导~

可是distinguish我查了字典,可能字典还不够权威。。。

只有distinguish between A and B, 没有不加 between 就 and 的啊。。。。NN们请讲解。。。

还有一个疑问

-ing分词短语放在句尾优先充当状语   1L解释的这个,ing短语放句尾总是作状语的么?  可能出现修饰前一个名词的可能性么?

这点我学的很差,比较迷糊。希望大家多多指点。 再次感谢。。。

lz仔细读一下,这里是说区分离散的声音和单词
distinguish between A and B 表达的是要把A, B区别开,这里没有这个意思,固定搭配不能随便套用的,还要根据句意。
