正解是A 我的疑问是，they 在这里有指代不清的嫌疑啊。。虽然我们知道这个they指的是clovis points，但是客观来讲，they 的用法还是有歧义的啊 points，grooves,faces都是复数。
对于类似的指代问题我总有这样的疑问，前面也发过两个类似的帖子 。望高手解答

你说的都是插入语部分。主语咋能指代从句的插入语部分呢。。。

可是，不管那些名词复数是在主句还是在插入语里，如果结构不合理，还是会造成歧义的啊。。。
现在明白了。应该是主从对位指代。。。和从句主语对应
