D的选项有几个错误：

1. prices from an oversupply，注意，price from...的用法不正确，not accurate，而且有被动描述的感觉，OG常说的passive voice

2. to plunging computer chip prices 的修饰不正确，not accurate& awkward，因为， plunging是修饰了computer了，而没有直接修饰到price，所以不准确。

3. due to 有些口语化，比起because引导的从句来说not very formal

4. due to +名词性结构，即使可以，也是修饰的主句的主语，即，the manufacturer,显然不是原文的意思。 原文需要两个并列的句子，第一个句子用because来引导表原因，非常清晰。
