so as to 表目的时， 其之前只能有一个 名词， 本题 King Henry VIII和Queen Catherine 两个人在so as to 前出现， 会产生指代不明。

我觉得二楼说得很对啊,就是歧义.
So…… that 是可以用于不同的主语，如 Mary is so beautiful that we all like her.
so……as to……是单一主谓结构，即一个主语一个谓语，如：Mary is so beautiful as to be attractive
