can作为助动词，有和be able to(与生俱来的能力)重叠的意向。例如以下b和f。其他的就不大能和be able to替换了。

印象总结一下吧
can 和 be able to没有本质区别的，就是看时态哪个合适了
然后be able to 由于caple of doing 这个我不是拿的很准，你可以去认真看一下PREP,别我误人子弟了
然后根据形容词优于名词，前面这三个都是优于后面两个的
我能想起来的就这些了，不知道有没有帮助

刚看到一个这样的解释~
capability强调的是能不能这个事情~
ability是强调的天生有米有能力做某事情~
而且~GMAT认为capability of X-ing/in X-ing是wordy/awkward的
至于can和be able to 貌似有时候在G中可以并列了....~
