分号在GMAT句子里面的作用主要是连接两个句子，显然这里不是考这个语法知识点
be priced to sell，我的理解是因为前面VINTNERS为了降低库存，决定降价，be priced

to sell,也就是说也红酒真的是以这个价格来卖。
为了表明事件的先后顺序，后面用了一般现在时。

1.整句意思： 努力为了减少库存，意大利葡萄酒商已经降了价；他们的红酒正在被重新定价来卖，而且酒商们确实在卖（有人买）。

2.分号用来连接两个完整的句子。

3.price    v.  to decide the price of sth. that is for sale (usually passive)

In an effort to reduce their inventories,Italian vintners have cut prices; their wines are priced to sell and they (指代vintners 酒商） do ( sell ) .

我写错的原因在于，不懂得“；”的意义，让我以为后面那半句是用来修饰前面的，然后就找了更过去的时态

我看到老外的论坛上这样解释这句话：

可是这样子的指代不会有问题么..前面的所有格中的their是酒商，后面they又变成

酒了？
而且酒自己可以are selling吗？

"they" 指代的是＂wines". "sell" 作不及物动词时， 意思是＂被卖出＂ ＂有销路＂， ＂有人买＂ 的意思。参见牛津高阶＂sell＂的第四个意思
