从这道题感觉GMAT出题越来越阴险了~首先是一贯的偏爱BOTH AND搭配搞TRICK,其次是一贯偏爱的同位语结构变成了wordiness and unnecessary grammatically complexity.哎 脾气变的不少。

both...and...前后不对称啊。 in the stride-piano tradition of Willie Smith and Duke Ellington 这是一个整体。

逻辑为王！这题当发现both...and这个组合是错误的时候，马上考虑到换其他说法。类似题有not only...but also一道。其中题目意思是转折，而非递进。宣判not only...but also死亡。
