貌似是当过去分词在巨末时，不论有没有逗号，都修饰就近的名词或词组吗？所以我觉得应该是修饰the nation's third leading cause of Death

同意LS 的观点，在GMAT 中，偏爱分词ed紧靠修饰对象，而且修饰就近紧靠的名词。请参照 OG 56 A/B/C选项答案 和 OG 107  C/D/E 选项答案。 不知道其他NN关于过去分词ed的句中位置有没有其他补充？
