the difference between gmat and gre math

i was wondering what the difference is between the math that is tested in the gmat and in the gre, of course, other than the DS section!!
im taking the gre this year, and some of the gmat Qs making the rounds in the problem solving section of the gmat seem tough (to me)
does gmat test you to a higher level, or is it just me who feels this way?

I took GRE in 2001, and GMAT in 2003. I personally found GMAT's math a bit tougher than the GRE's. That could be because of the DS section!
