The world’s most selective firms regularly court Berkeley MBA students. Prestigious investment banks, consulting firms, and technology companies of all sizes are among those firms that hire Haas students and graduates as interns and full-time employees. Employers seek out Berkeley MBA students because they demonstrate a mastery of powerful quantitative and management tools, and a solid understanding of best practices for the changing technological, global, and human dimensions of business.
The Haas School provides you with access to employers through multiple channels. On-campus interviews and corporate presentations are popular forums to present oneself to a prospective employer. Each year, the Center hosts over 100 companies for on campus interviews. Additionally, you are given the opportunity to mingle with hiring managers and recruiters in more informal ways, including industry firm nights, career panels, corporate visits, and job fairs.
You may also launch an independent job search, especially if you want a career with a firm or within an industry that doesn’t regularly recruit on campus (such as fledgling nano-tech startups).
Finally, Berkeley’s proximity to San Francisco and the Silicon Valley, along with a vast alumni network, facilitates tremendous access to potential employment opportunities.
