Dr. T won the Nobel Prize for discovering how the body can change…to fashion a seemingly unlimited number of antibodies, each specifically targeted at an invading microbe.

我的问题是:为什么后半句不用 targeting at...? 一般来说这种伴随状语应该用逻辑主语+分词结构, 不是吗?若理解成是一从句,为什么和主句之间没有连词呢?

each 是逻辑主语，targeted 是分词？用过去分词表明antibody是受免疫系统指挥的。

例如Longman词典中的例句： The missiles are targeted at several key military sites.可以改写为 The US Army targets the missiles at several key military sites in Russia.

这题我也不懂。。。。
OG的解释里说Choices A, B, and C incorrectly use the adjective form seeming to modify the participial adjective unlimited.
为什么seeming是修饰unlimited,而不是修饰number?按照LZM的解释，错的原因不是应该seeming修饰number而导致逻辑意思不通么？
