对C的解释verb (leads) does not agree with the subject (inventories).说文章的主语是inventories，是复数。

但是我为什么觉得是rising inventories是主语，那rising inventories是主语的话，那他是单数还是复数呢？

我觉得是Rising inventories导致了production cutbacks ，主语该是Rising inventories啊，而且是rising这个动作啊。而inventories是不可能导致一个结果的啊

我觉得就算是动词，那他作为主语也该是个动名词吧，表示正在上升的存货，中心词还是

存货啊

如果你认为RISING才是中心词，那企不成了上升导致，肯定是上升的存货导致的吧，我这

看来我是没有搞懂rising是动名词还是形容词，如果是形容词的话，那么就好理解了：上升的货存。

看来我是跳进了自己给自己设的陷阱了。

刚刚解开了自己的疑惑，原先以为题意是提升inventories这个动作导致production

cutbacks，所以觉得这个动作作为主语，后面应该用单数动词。后来发现了，这里是rising，

不是raising。rise是不及物动词，所以不是被别人raise的一个动作，而是一个inventories

自身的一个状态。这就好理解了，主语是inventories，后面应该用复数动词。
