其實並不是in addition to 與besides的問題,問題是指代正不正確還有字詞的用法

後面的主詞是brewed leaves，所以用its,it沒有指代對象->A,B,C錯。

D選項的部分，要表達的是possible prevention...，有名詞可用就要用名詞，不要用動名詞。

因此E是最好的。

讚同: in addition to和besides做介詞時沒有不一樣 (很奇怪, Longman上說besides只能是副詞, anyway...dictionary.com有)

如果選D, besides就成了介詞, 那就要求有平衡的對象 (OG10#241), obviously, "the preventing/inhibiting...some forms of cancer"不可能和the brewed leaves of Camellia sinensis平衡, 也不可能和reducing the risk of heart disease and stroke平衡.

E的besides做了副詞, 那preventing/inhibiting成了分詞, 它們的邏輯主語就是主句主語.

or vs. and; 嚴格來說preventing和inhibiting在這都是同一個意思, 所以用or.  可是我不確定.

But,Besides, since和after這四個字同樣可以身兼連接詞與介詞，如果出現在一個插入句之

後，要特別注意會不會引起岐義(像是prep裡面biological traits那題)。另外一個考點是這

些詞如果搭配being有可能是正確選項。
