这题我其实也有疑惑，OG说The three descriptors of social wasps（cooperative,

organized, and consisting almost entirely of females） are most effectively

expressed in parallel structures.  可是B中这三者好像不平行啊？

我的理解是：
1.cooperative, organized 和 consisting ..... 都是修饰social wasps的
2.看B选项：由于句式的原因（wasps做主语）导致最后一个动词consist不能正常的使用and连接（正常平行结构：A, B, and C），而需要用consisting做分词状语来修饰之前的society。因为consist的逻辑主语应是society(根据逻辑意思判断：不是wasps个体本身构成几乎全是女性，而因是社会性质导致)
3.再啰嗦一句：
 wasps个体本身构成几乎全是女性的意思=》wasps基本上繁殖出来的都是雌性
 社会性质导致的意思=》繁殖出来的有雌性、有雄性，但由于群体生存的需要，则导致组成一个wasps群体基本上只需要雌性
