二月AI

1.     In the interest of nation security, the government should have access to the citizens' library records and internet activity history. (2

2.       Governments should not be responsible for regulating businesses and other organizations. Instead, society would benefit if the

organizations themselves assumed most of the responsibility for establishing and enforcing their own standards and regulations.

3.     It is difficult for people to achieve professional success without sacrificing important aspects of a fulfilling personal life.

4.     题库65. “The rise of multinational corporations is leading to global homogeneity.* Because people everywhere are beginning to want the

same products and services, regional differences are rapidly disappearing.”

同意反对均可:素材,主要是那些知名的跨国企业:(e.g. Coca Cola in China) (e.g. Heineken advertisement difference in different countries)

5.     题库 42. Scientists are continually redefining the standards for what is beneficial or harmful to the environment. Since these standards

keep shifting, companies should resist changing their products and processes in response to each new recommendation until those

recommendations become government regulations.

6.     All groups and organizations should function as teams in which everyone makes decisions and shares responsibilities and duties. Giving

one person central authority and responsibility for a project or task is not an effective way to get work done.

7.     In order to ensure the national security, the government should be authorized to keep secret any information they wish. (2

8.              As technologies and the demand for certain services change, many workers will lose their jobs. The responsibility for
those people to adjust to such change should belong to the individual worker, not to government or to business.”

9.      Financial gain should be the most important factor in choosing a career. (2

10.           A powerful business leader has far more opportunity to influence the course of a community or a nation than does any government

             official

TOP

11.    All the citizens should take a specified amount of public services. It will benefit not only the whole nation but also the participants. (2

          PUBLIC SERVICES

12.   The best teachers are who expect students to challenge popular ideas rather than accept them.

13.  题库114. Technology ultimately separates and alienates people more than it serves to bring them together.

14.  题库15. “Nations should cooperate to develop regulations that limit children’s access to adult material on the Internet.”

15.  题库81. “No one can possibly achieve any real and lasting success or ‘get rich’ in business by conforming to conventional practices or

            ways of thinking.”

16.  题库45. “The most effective way for a businessperson to maximize profits over a long period of time is to follow the highest standards of

            ethics.”

17.        题库117. “Because of recent advancements in business and technology, the overall quality of life in most societies has never been better  than at the present time.”

18.  题库60Employer should have no right to know the employees' health problem and their personal lives without their permission.

19.  Employers should have the right to prohibit the employees from unhealthy behaviors, both at work & in personal lives.

36. “Businesses and other organizations have overemphasized the importance of working as a team. Clearly, in any human

group, it is the strong individual, the person with the most commitment and energy, who gets things done.”
