正确选项是C， E中说acquire与bought同时用，表达不简洁。（不理解）C比E好在哪呢？

干嘛一句句子要用两个~

个人觉得，E的问题是
1. acquiring与bought在此处意思差不多，都是购得的概念。
2. bought it里的it指代不太清楚，语法上，要么指代miles, 要么指代purchase， 因为前半句里的louisiana是个定语。但it既无法指代前面的828,000 （复数），也无法指代purchase (逻辑意思不对）

C中的it是否有指代不明的问题呢，逻辑上当然是指代US，但是会不会是acre?

如果这是正确答案，那么肯定是指US,但是相对来说，存在指代不清的时候还是用名词代替最好。A中就是用名词代替，BDE也是。就是C不是。

miles是复数，it指代不了，it应该是指代purchase,不过放在这里又好像读不通顺。
