这题B C 不对称，D无动词，都排了。A E实在搞不懂怎么选出E的。E把原句的主干换从属了，为什么还选E呢？

不知道我的想法对不对,A里面的伴随状态含有同时发生的意思,意思是信在那段时间被写的同时超过了其他的信,而E里面是指是信在那段时间写完了超过了其他的信............

这道题是有点郁闷，确实有点难以从A和E中选出来，但是从主体意思看是说写给这个人的信超过了写给其他任何人的信。
所以应该以 letters outernumber为主，那个信的说明为从。选E就表达了这个意思
