比较中主语及系动词都可以省略吗？

为什么在下面的结构中对应的词不能省？

首先，当比较同一主语时，主语与系动词可以省略，也就是说在251中，比较的是时间“现在”与“过去”。
其次，第二句有关车的选项中，不知是不是你写错了还是原题就这样，除省略问题外还有，比较的前后“数量”不一致。还有：不能是 in road吧！应该是on road/on the road！
再者，第二句若省略了those（宾语），使比较模糊。是已经省油的车、不省油的车、大卡车、自行车。。。。。？
