What are the top 5 most reputed schools

What are the top 5 most reputed schools ?  I know Harvard, Stanford make the list, but what about the remaining 3?  I am not looking for the top 5 ranked schools by BW, but top 5 schools that are well known throughout the world. Thanks.

It depends on what you're looking for, where you want to do it, what your goals are and what kind of a person you are.

 

The very fact that different rankings are so different from each other (compare - for example - BW to FT to USN) is testament to the fact that there is no answer to your question.

From a personal point of view, I am sorry to say that these rankings are not repreentative of the "common renown" of the schools . No one here ever heard about Kellog or Booth (I mean in the normal population, not in the big consulting companies, of course, who know well these schools!))

 

I know that in China, the most famous American universities, with a name well known that "sounds", are: Stanford, Harvard, MIT, Berkeley, Yale.

 

Obviously, this is not in line with the perception of the quality of the MBAs, but this is based on awareness of people of the street !
