(2) The manager distributed a total of 18 pens, 27 pencils, and 36 pads.

选E吧..由2可以得到总共发了多少的pens, pencils, and pads ,加上条件一,设有X个雇员

(2+3+4)X..a=18+27+36

a是一个算每个人分到多少pens, pencils, and pads 的未知数

所以有两个未知数..E
