我现在似乎明白为什么A,C,D,E不对了，前半句一直说的是单数的bird,而A,C,D,E用的都是bird的复数。不过B明显违反比较结果啊。难道B根本也不是比较，like当动词“喜欢”讲？

还请大家讨论。

首先翻译下前半句：
“跟sandpiper觅食和栖息所需要的grassy fields和old pastures一样”

GMAT中比较的最高要求是逻辑一致，其次才是格式或形式一致。这题中，一开始用like引出比较的一方面对象grassy fields and old pastures，都是名词.
然后看各个选项比较的对象：
- 选项D和E比较的对象是sandpipers’ vanishing。即把两个名词事物和一个动作性的doing比较，显然逻辑错误。
- 选项C，比较对象是that引导的从句，显然逻辑和形式都不一致。
- 只有选项A和B比较的对象是sandpipers。

再看A和B。
