我也认为E选项可以说得通：

如上所示，相当于两个that之间省略了一个and，然后把前面的逗号去掉。

我这样说也有我的道理，因为英语里面当列举不一定全时，最后一个列举前面的and应该省掉，并以逗号取代。例如：

What I have chosen are apples, pears and bananas.

What I have chosen are apples, pears, bananas.

以上两句都是对的，后者表示列举不全而已。
