Lubar School of Business University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Our program The Lubar School of Business Ph.D. program in Organizations and Strategic Management (O&SM) prepares our graduates to become management professors at major research universities. Students can specialize in Strategic Management, Organization Theory, Human Resources Management, Organizational Behavior and International Business. The collegial atmosphere of our program encourages students to learn together and allows close student contact with faculty members in management and across the business disciplines. The result is an intense educational and apprenticeship experience, with nearly all of our students presenting their research at prestigious international conferences such as the Academy of Managementconference. Our graduates Lubar School O&SM doctoral graduates are now successful management professors at schools ranging from large public research universities such as Texas A&M and the University of Texas El Paso, to smaller private schools such as Bradley University and Calvin College. They have published in top-tier international research journals such as the Academy of Management Journal, the Strategic Management Journal and the Journal of Management. The current job market for Ph.D.s in management is strong, with starting salaries at research schools ranging from $100,000 to $150,000 annually.
