A Ph. D. position is available in ME in Clemson University (SC)
The Transport Phenomena Lab at Clemson University is looking for one Ph.D. student (RA appointment) to perform research in the field of transport phenomena at the micro/nano-scale. The starting time is Spring 2009.
Research Focus: multiscale simulation of fluid and ionic transport at micro/nanoscales.
Required : 1. basic training in fluid mechanics and heat transfer; 2. proficiency in programming and strong interest/background in numerical modeling;
Desired but not required: 1. M.S. degree in engineering disciplines 2. Experience in writing parallel computing programs.
