不对。A的意思是这条运河很少有地方宽40且深12，限定条件更多一些而已。表示选择关系

A的主要错误是～it很多余～

seldom是否定词，不过句子是肯定句。用and理论上没错。

A的真正错误是后面两个完整的句子中间没有连词。而且A加多了一个代词表达不简洁。

从意思上分析，363 miles 和前面的 40 feet, 12 feet 都是修饰主语的，形式上应该尽量并列。把其中一个变成了句子主干的一部分，显然不好
