这道题我是用排除法选B，但就LZM而言，动词有名词的形式，就不能用ING形式做为名词，RISE 本来就有名词形式，怎么B中用了RISING。若E的AS 改为FOR 是否也对？[em24][em20][em19]

这道题是错的，解释中说，AFTER 后的时间状语应放在句尾，用豆号隔开。但是时间状语紧跟所修饰的动词FOUNDED 不是也对吗？[em27]

你对LZM的太信了，虽然他的书不错但有些题用他的方法可以，而另一些则绝对不行！特别不能绝对化！
本题绝对不能用rise ，就因为它是个名词形式！名词用LZM的说法：是表示一种状态或结果，而动名词是指动作，在此rising指示的是动作。能且只能是上升的这个动作，误导美国的系统认为是“攻击中的导弹”。
A中的as 改为for也不好，为什么？因为：rising与attack名词相对，by前应是动词吧！若是动词，A就犯了平行错误，这可是ETS最忌讳的！
