我个人认为A C E的表达都是正确的

这题你好像把 C里面的 themselves漏掉了吧？是根据themselves来得到正确答案C的

刘振民的书上说，quantities of + 可数名词是错的；这个我不同意，谁说不可以了？

不知道啊，LZ的书上，答案C是有themselves的，所以选C
至于他剔除A, E是说quantities of people不对，我不同意.
