Q24:

If ab = 1, what is the value of (axb)(ayb)?

(1)   ax = by = 2

(2) 2xy = 4

这一题，我有一点糊涂了。我也能明白为什麽答案是d。但我总还是觉得条件一可以得出4来。既然ax=by=2，那麽剩下只有又一组ab，而ab=1，所以结果等于4，不等于2。我可能有一点把自己给搞糊涂了。希望哪位可以指点我一下。谢了。

1) and 2) do not have to  be the same answer.  As long as you can

use the information given to solve what's been asked. 
take 1),  x=2/a, y=2/b, so xy=4/ab.  这和2)不一样的.  你是对的,
