问几个语法题和小知识点

请教大牛们几个语法题和知识点：
1。OG上第205题中对E的解释我没看明白，谁给解释一下。
2。OG上第142题的E为什么不可以啊？demand sb to do sth的用法到底对不对啊？
3。代词指代的一个问题：代词究竟是就近指代一个名词， 还是按照主句主语，从句主语，修饰语中n的顺序找其指代对象？
4。so+adj+as to 的结构到底对不对啊？
5。我看了本版的关于主谓一致的总结，但是我所记得的“what从句作句子主语时，主句谓语和what从句中的谓语单复数应该一致，均由主句中的n决定”。eg：what are difficult to understand are a&b.不知道准确的用法到底是什么啊?

3.代词指代是一个十分复杂的语言点，没有一个可以通用的规律。不过优先指代主句主语，其他就看逻辑意思了。
4.so adj. as to 这种结构Gmat中几乎都是以错误选项出现的，一般正确用法是so as to连在一起表示目的。
讨论具体题目最好把题目贴出来，方便大家的说。
btw,我觉得复习语法一个很好的办法就是用搜索功能查遍电子版OG的所有相关考点，一般来说都会搞定。比如说楼主的第5题，用what作为关键词搜索一遍肯定就搞定了，如果搜不到的话基本上就不是考点。如果还是没有搞清楚可以进一步搜索885语法。

Choice E uses the correct verb form, is, but it incorrectly introduces a dependent adverbial although clause into a prepositional phrase (with crests ...). 这个解释我不太明白。
