1.talk about an important decision
An important decision I made a long time ago was to move to California.
The first reason this decision was important to me was because I had never been out on my own. I packed up all my stuff and took a path towards the unknown. It turned out to be a very good decision as I became very successful.
The second reason it was important was that I was using all of my money and if I made a bad decision, it would leave me with very little money to survive on. I was only 18 years old and at that time the money I had was supposed to last me until I found my next job. Once I got there, to california, I got a job and made enough money to survive.
2. do you think that high school should open music and art course?
Yes, I do believe that Music and Art classes should be open in high school for the following reasons:
The first reason is that students focus so much on math and science that their minds almost hurt. There needs to be a break in their learning and the Arts and Music usually allow for this kind of break.
The second reason is that students need to be creative. People need to be able to imagine new things and the Arts and Music give them the ability to see things in their mind and therefore have a greater imagination. Think about the new products we have in the last 34 years. If it hadn't have been for Arts and Music, we probably wouldn't have moved forward in innovation.
3. should students be allowed to use their cellphones in the library?
I do not think students should be allowed to use their cellphones in the library.
Firstly, the noise created by the person talking on the cellphone is just too much. Since they do not get real-time feedback on how well their voice is being heard by the other side or other party, they are usually talking louder.
Secondly, the concentration of the persons around them and themselves, as well, is greatly effected by the cellphone usage. They have to focus on the conversation and are not able to read the book or do their homework as they should. When they are in the library, they should be doing many things, but one of them is not talking on the cellphone. |
