请问在B、C选项中，为什么C就不对呢？这里的are为什么不可以省略啊。谢谢。

我当时的理解，如果句子正过来就是modems are so too,原句只是做了倒装，所以正过来看的话are 是省不掉的。

heihei，我觉得你说得有点道理。可是还不明白的是，这里so too是个什么用法。我查了字典，没有查到这个用法啊：（

我现在只能理解到，这个句子的意思是computers are..., and modems are...too，为了后面的修饰能够准确而无歧异的修饰modems，所以用了倒装。不过还是不能解释这里so too 用法。

我觉得楼上的不用纠结so too这个用法，。are so，这个so应该指得是变得faster, more powerful, more reliable, 而too就简单地是  也  的意思

LZ，这里are绝对不可以省略，因为这是modems are so too 的倒装，对应and前面Computers are becoming faster, more powerful, and more reliable这部分，所以它也必须是个完整的主系表结构，所以系动词are一定要保留。
