这里的beginging修饰years还是period,如果修饰years不是还是把a hundred years 定义为开始于1788年。还是分词修饰的话，就不是给前面的名词下定义，而只是起修饰作用？

例如：A student, Sam......这种同位修饰的。可不可以跳跃修饰。。。

我觉得OG上面的解释时说a hundred years 和 a period beginning in 1788是同位结构,也就是说把任何的a hundred years 定义位a period beginning in 1788是不对的.

可以。你翻一下OG，其中有一题是说什么人的船很轻，人可以抗着走，但能载800磅东西的。未划线部分就有这样的修饰，虽然不是同位语，但可以借鉴。

tongxun,我有一个问题，就是两个，之间一般是不是同位修饰的比较多，不可以跳跃修饰吧！比如说AAAAAA,BBBBBB,CCCCCC.ccccc应该不会和bbbbb一起修饰aaaaa吧。
