Throughout the years at the University of San Diego I feel that I have developed a connection to my classmates. The first day of class this semester was very exciting- I have great classes with outstanding professors, and recognize or know 90% of my classmates. There was definitely a sense of belonging within my business classes that was not present in my elective classes. Each class has a group project that is very applicable to real world situations. I thoroughly enjoy all of my business courses.
No one can argue that class size plays a huge role in making our program unique. Being able to actively be a part of class discussions is invaluable for me because I learn a lot better when I'm participating and asking questions; I know I would not be able to do this in a lecture hall of 200 students. I feel like the types of students that attend USD currently as well as the graduates are very connected in the business world and are eager to help out fellow alumni, which also has helped me in my job/career decisions. In short, the "interconnectedness" of our program is what gives it its strength, through close relationships and personalized assistance. |
