1.偶觉得which的用法没有错，引导一个非限制性定语从句，指代前面的句子。i.e.which doubles =doubling
2.be known as与be known to的意思不同，前者表示以...著称，后者表示为...熟知。但如果翻译为后者，也解释不通。偶以为此句中的be known to整体修饰the numbers,后者是不定式结构作known的补语。
3.注意此句为部分倒装句，正常语序为doubling the number of satellites now known to orbit the distant planet to twelve .
