why the first sentence is wrong ,and the the secong is right ? waiting for your explanation .thank you

 

2."one's" is used only if the subject "one" is present,following with his will not be acceptable.so why ??

examplene can only do one's best (right)

 

               one can only do his best (wrong)

举例的有什么关系么？spring 和christmas 都是名词呀，
