When a preposition phrase such as "in addition to" is used at the beginning of a sentence, its subject must be the main clause's subject. In this case, the subject is "leaves"; therefore, "in addition to" is ambiguous and incorrect. Moreover, "its" in A and B does not match "leaves", and the idiom is "possibilities of" not "possibilities for/to."
