答案给的是A，但个人认为应该是B，因为通过progree的名义，而不是progress 的名义来decimate

B应该是不对的，就算是by which这个用法正确的话，后面的句子中还应该加一个动词，因为这是一个定语从句  by which native peoples of the Western Hemisphere （were）decimated

我现在觉得不确定的是A和E，到底是devastation and enslavement 做定语从句的修饰对象呢？还是Christopher Columbus或者是progess？

这个修饰对象有点搞不懂。
