我的理解是,不管牙齿有没有掉,spare teeth都是有储备的.只有当牙齿掉的时候,spare teeth才ready to slide into the appropriate position.所以,C好象意思更加准确一点.

A should be the right answer.

Because "whenever" change the original meaning of "when", "ADE" is wrong

In C, each one of which are,

"single vs plural" does not match"!
