关于现在分词或-ed分词作状语时(尤其在句首), LZM书中说"如果其逻辑主语不是句子的主语,此结构称为无依附结构",即为错.

但当现在分词或-ed分词作伴随状语在句末时, 是否就无此限制?
如: The cameras of the VoyagerII spacecraft detected six small, previously unseen moons circling Uranus, doubling to twelve the number of satellites now known to orbit the distant planet.

其中doubling 的逻辑主语一定不是 The cameras of the VoyagerII spacecraft .

有谁帮助解释一下. 先谢谢![em09]

我觉得doubling.....是做detected six small, previously unseen moons circling Uranus的伴随状语，应该没有放在句首那样的限制。

对，是做整个句子的伴随状语，不过twelve the number of satellites...是不是又是一个n.+n.结构的定语或同位语呢

那么可以认为,现在分词或-ed分词作状语时,
(1)如果放在句首, 其逻辑主语应该是句子的主语. 并由此可判断现在分词或-ed分词的使用对错;
(2) 而放在句末时, 其逻辑主语不一定是句子主语了. 在判断现在分词或-ed分词的使用对错时,就不考虑其逻辑主语的问题.

以上的理解对吗?

请问现在分词和过去分词做状语的区别
-ing和-ed做状语时，过去分词表被动，过去；现在分词表主动，现在。但当两种表达冲突时，是不是以主被动为主。如表示过去的一种主动的动作，就用过去分词呢？
