虽然说一切皆有可能,环顾四周我们甚至也能看到不少岁数不小却进了投行、咨询的个案,但是亲爱的朋友,我们的抉择还是要建立在行业潜规则和统计概率的基础上的。
因为没做过投行、也没做过咨询,所以想征询一下达人,MBA毕业多大岁数时应该不用寄望于进投行、做咨询了?30岁?32?35?

咨询好些,30大几的人进入投行的机会少。
三十大几的,进咨询,应该也是从基层做起。如果不是有特别的长处,估计雇主还是倾向于招年轻点、能吃苦、能加班的吧?
记得有个笑话,说中国的明星主持都是年轻漂亮的小姑娘;而国外的大牌主持都是白头翁。知道为什么吗?
投行也有许多细分的职业的,年龄不是绝对的,关键是你自己是不是真的适合做投行。
我猜测更多的是你的体力的限制和你是否愿意与28岁年轻人从同一个level起步
there are different positions in MC and IB, so you do not necessarily start with entry level job. for an MBA graduate I guess the highest level you can get in MC is associate, which can also be fufilled by those younger MBA who have previous MC experience.
Not sure about IB.
Freshly-minted MBAs enter management consulting as Associate (McKinsey) or Consultant (BCG/Bain) no matter how old you are or how much experience you have before. Most associates I have met are in their late 20s or early 30s. Very rare to see entering Associates older than 35. I guess two reasons. First, there is a self selection - when you are in late 30s you probably have already started a family and consulting is tough lifestyle. You don't get to see your spouse and kids from Monday to Thursday and you work long hours. Second, the firms may be hesitant to hire you given your chance of making partner before 40 is slim. It's a little odd for the Associate to work with a partner who may be a lot younger than you. That said, it's not entirely impossible. Have seen at least two Associates in the range of 34-36.

MC/IB好象是(相对)最不考虑先前工作经验的吧, 换而言之, 工作经验丰富与27-8岁的同学在竞争的时候未必会有很大的优势, 但个人觉得, MBA不等于咨询/投行, 提升下自己, 开阔下眼界, 在回到自己原来的行业说不定也会有意想不到的结果.
