First we must undertsand how "such as" is different from "like". To understand

that, we have to get rid of how we are used to speaking everyday. "like" draws

an analogy but also at the same time an exclusion. For example, "can you buy

me some fruit LIKE apple?" , this means to buy me fruit that's NOT apple but

LIKe apple. It might sound very strange and against how we normally would use the word but technically that's how it works.

That being said, we should see

why "like" should be used
