Long-distance runners use two different kinds of cognitive strategies: “associative” and “dissociative”.associative strategies involve attending closely to physical sensations, while dissociative strategies involvemostly ignoring physical sensations. Associative strategies, unlike dissociative ones, require so much concentration that they result in mental exhaustion lasting more than a day. Since it is important for long-distance runners to enter a race mentally refreshed,---- Which one of the following most logically completes the argument?
A Long-distance runners should not rely heavily on associative strategies during training the day before they run in race
E In long-distance running, dissociative strategies are generally more effective for a day’s training run than are associative strategies
我觉得如果题目问的是,therefore, in valuing the effect of these two methods, we can conclude that XXX
Since it is important for long-distance runners to enter a race mentally refreshed,所以XXX,这里的关键词汇是什么,是enter a race,那么说的就是比赛前,根本不是在比较两个方法哪个更有效,所以应该选A。
