正确答案是E,为什么？逗号后面可以直接加ed形式吗?这句话中的几个ing 和ed形式分别都是修饰谁呢

后面的分句其实是用来指代the growth，which指代不明
逗号后面当然可以用分词结构
ed表示这个动作是被动的，被决定的
ing表示主动
这个只需要看懂意思即可

从形式上来讲，which 所引的句子不是来说明local time，而是说明abolition
因为名词短语the abolition of local times的中心词是abolition，而不是local time
从逻辑上来讲，which 所引的句子应该是来说明local time 的
