争议答案处在A和B，GWD答案给的是A

但是我觉得应该选B

我们先不管这两个选项其他的语法点，我比较关心的是"as" 的用法

As 在GMAT后面接名词作介词时（我把正确句子翻了翻），一般表示“in the role of"，修饰主语，可以放在句尾，或者主语旁边

在选项A中，as是介词因为后面是名词加定从，这里主句主语是they指代Lines of competition, companies我怎么想也没法修饰到line? 逻辑上我觉得不匹配

而选项B中，as后面接句子作连词，不存在A中的问题，而且competing companies one day may be partners the next (day). 我觉得挺平行的

对于as 的用法比较模糊，请大家指正
