我也感觉这个significant/significantly用的有点问题，还有that is不是可以省略的么？同求解

这句话是不是说，不同之处很少，little是修饰different的，little后面那个that是引导的一个从句。不知道这样理解正不正确……

同位语从句是个there be 句型：there is little
that is significantly different in the underlying mental processes manifested by people from different cultures 是修饰little的定语从句。

简化一下：
...the generalization that little is significantly different in the underlying mental processes manifested by people from different cultures.

'little of X', the X has to be a singular quantity
