这个句子中（in which they were enshrined），they指代的是谁呢？

我本来也觉得是Buddha images，不过后来又多看了几眼，我现在觉得大概是 construction and decoration were enshrined in the temples. ：）

个人觉得是images,因为construction 不能被enshrined

我觉得也是Buddha images
因为除了temples和images，其他的名词都是抽象的，也不可能被称为they。
