标题: reapplicant是不是有disadvantage [打印本页]

都说cbs申ed看来挺有道理。。。特别是俺finance出身又想做finance看来在columbia太多了
reapply的话，貌似cbs是只要求一篇独立的reapply essay，这样就没办法利用其它的essay题目展现自己了？

总的感觉是，学校拒了一次，短短的一年时间，如果没有杰出的变化，要想说服学校，是挺有难度的。

个人建议是换一家申请吧，这么多好学校呢。

Hey there! We have reapplicants get into CBS every year; the trick is that you do have to use that one essay (and only that one essay) to your advantage. You will need to make a case in that essay for the fact that your application has reeeeeally improved. And the key is to keep that essay nice and simple. Last year I was AA, this year I am AAAA. Last year I worked on ONE international deal, and this year I worked on TEN of em. You get the idea—a reap for CBS is possible—but make sure to get your app in ED, and make sure to write an amaaaazing essay!

被拒也可能是因为同一背景招的多了，不一定非要improve多少吧
同样r2，比cbs好的差的都有给俺面试的，唯独it直接据。。。

这个肯能不是没有，但是每个背景的申请人，都是一大堆呀，很难说清楚人家是招多了还是怎么。

至于面试机会，是经常有排名靠前的给面试，排名靠后的反而拒掉的事情，不奇怪。

老实说，是会有影响的，不过如果你的GMAT，Toefl分数有提高，也还好一些
