I will pick C
A and D used the "earn more pay“。 听上去不对,earn money才对,不会earn pay的。Should be eliminated.
For B, "a ratio that compares" is wrong. Compare 在 gmat里基本都是被动。Ratio can not 主动 compare.
For E, "compared" is right after "the pay of workers". 那到底这个compare是 compare ratio with?pay? worker? neither sounds right though.

浅析:先声明下,这题我一开始选的A,原因是没注意到CEO‘s,其实根据这一点直接可以先排除掉A,B,C,原因是这个's表示的是现在进行时而非所有格结构,另外再说个我认为是知识点的东东就是B选项中 a ratio 想用同位语指代,但是前句没有指代对象所以也算个错误点吧!
接下来D我一看到CEO’s后面有个who就立马又OG12总结的常见错因‘累赘的表述’排除掉了。。。再补充个我自己认为的知识点:C,D中都用了as compared to,as 作为连词时后面要跟完整的句子而非分词结构,所以偶认为这也是个错因吧.
