Can someone explain what the answer for this one should be and why-

C - incorrect use of another
D- living in two worlds ' is misplaced
E - incorrect use of another

Here we have to use Like , since we are just comparing two nouns. Hence D&E are ruled out.
Like many others of his generation indicates that the sentence is talking about Joseph Brant , and hence his name should follow the comma. That rules out B.
In C , i dont think use of "living" is correct since the same tense has to be preserved through out the sentence.
Thats leaves us with A.
